Why I Write…

This blog is written to show the world that there are still women out in the world that marry for Love and still dedicate their lives to Christ. Since I was a child, I’ve always gone against the grain, fought against society, and never fit the stereotype of what I’m supposed to be in this generation. I’m a young woman with no children who married someone because I love him and couldn’t picture life without him regardless of circumstances and situations. I married him because I knew what God said to me and I was ready and willing to walk in that, regardless of what others had to say. I’m a young woman who could have had the world at her feet, but instead decided to leave it all behind and follow Christ wholeheartedly. I’m a young woman who loves music of all kinds, still smiles everyday, talks to God everyday, reads the Bible everyday, and plays video games and drinks a glass or two of wine on occasion. I’m a young woman who gave up my life… for the life God had in store for me… but I’m still ME, just a more joyful, hopeful, and loving version (lol).

I pray that this blog helps you to understand how important it is to go against the grain and go for God’s purpose for you life, whether it’s about marriage or school or whatever the case may be.

I’m a rebel for Christ… the world hated Him, so it’s gonna hate me too.

  1. Thank you indeed for the compliment, for the encouragement and for the following of Shadows. I love your passion for marriage, for marriage in the way it was designed to be.
